The year is 2050 and humankind has completely exhausted all of our planet's non-renewable resources.
In this day and age, energy has become something that is used globally, with the exception of few countries in the world. Humankind uses energy to do work, to light cities, to power vehicles, to heat homes, to cook and chop food, to play music, to give us pictures on television, to connect us to others via the Internet, and the list goes on and on and on… Without energy, society as we have come to know it, will cease to exist.
Without the help of energy resource specialists like you, there is no hope...
The fate of humankind is in your hands!
2. The task:
You are a group of renewable resource specialists and the Secretary-General of the United Nations has called on you to come up with the best solution to this catastrophic problem. Each of you is a specialist in one of these renewable resources: wind energy, solar energy, bio energy, geothermal energy and hydro energy. You have to accept the mission and convince the Secretary-General that your renewable energy resource is the most viable option.
